We're three friends from the Nordics who got fed up hunting for travel buddies across 47 Facebook groups. So we built the app we wished existed. A simpler way to find Scandinavians to travel with, and meet on the road.

  • Which phones does the app work on?
    The app is available for both iPhone and Android. Download it from the App Store or Google Play.
  • What does Skandineer cost?
    Skandineer is free to download and use. If you want more, you can subscribe to Skandineer Plus, an optional subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play and cancelled there. Plus gives you the whole map in focus, private groups and activities, and the ability to manage members. The current price is shown in the app before you confirm the purchase.
  • Can others see where I am in the app?
    Nope. We show area, never your exact position. You decide when you're visible, and we don't store location history.
  • Is it safe to meet people through the app?
    The app is for adults only, the map shows an area and never your exact position, and you can report and block anyone directly in the app. Suspensions are always decided by a person. Read more at skandineer.se/en/safety.
  • Who can see me in the app?
    Other Skandineer users in the area, when you've chosen to be visible. You decide when and where.
  • How do I delete my account?
    Settings and then Delete account, right inside the app. Your account stops being visible immediately, and you can change your mind for 30 days by signing in again. After that everything is permanently deleted.
